Millimetre-wave 3D radar (updated January 2024)
While prior work used X-band for proof-of-concept benefits accrue using millimetre-wave radar. The antenna is smaller and lighter, the scanner is faster, power consumption reduces. The present prototype is easily transportable in a small car. A slew-to-cue camera with video analytics was added to augment the radar, making a counter-UAV sensor suite.
